  Database Configuration
  -----------------------------------------------------

  DLOG4J uses Jakarta Commons DBCP to access/store information.
  This security model should work with any JDBC 2.0 compliant
  driver. The following databases are tested:

    DB2 v8
    MS SQLServer 2000
    MySQL 3/4
    Oracle 8i
    MS Access 2000
    HSQLDB 1.7.2

  DLOG4J is distributed with a populated Hypersonic-SQL(HSQLDB 1.7.2) database.

  To configure DLOG4J with a different database, modify the struts-config.xml in the {dlog4j_war}\WEB-INF directory.

  To populate the database, a script is provided in the {dlog4j_src}/doc/database/dlog_*.sql.

  Only run the statements for your specific database as commented.

  Email Sender Configuration
  -----------------------------------------------------

  To configure DLOG4J with a specifically email account, modify the struts-config.xml in the {dlog4j_war}\WEB-INF directory.

  There are two plugins for email sender:

  1. dlog4j.plugins.MailPlugin

  <plug-in className="dlog4j.plugins.MailPlugin">
	<set-property property="sender" value="dlog4j@gmail.com"/>
  </plug-in>

  Specify the email of sender to substitute dlog4j@gmail.com.

  2. dlog4j.plugins.MailSendPlugin

  <plug-in className="dlog4j.util.mail.MailSenderPlugin">
   	<!-- Email of sender -->
   	<set-property property="mail" value="[email]"/>
   	<!-- Host of SMTP server -->
   	<set-property property="host" value="[smtp_server_addr]"/>
   	<!-- Port of SMTP server -->
	<set-property property="port" value="25"/>
	<!-- Username of this account -->
	<set-property property="username" value="[account]"/>
	<!-- Password of this account -->
	<set-property property="password" value="[password]"/>
  </plug-in>

  Specify the properties of this plugin to substitute [xxxx].

  After you changed configuration of this part, you must reboot the application server to let the modification take effect.
